Customs Broker / Customer Services Coordinator – Logistics
Key functions of the role are:
To effectively liaise with nominated customers for all requirements and ensure that the details of such are in line with their SOP requirements and fully captured accurately and in a timely fashion in line with our internal operating procedures.
To ensure that any service changes or updates are included in both a revised SOP and IOP. To attend meetings with the Customer where required.
To maintain an excellent level of service for and relationship with the customer in line with OLUKL’s company expectations.
To ensure that any questions/queries arising from all global internal colleagues, customs or customers are responded to effectively and in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will need the following qualities:
Will ideally have good working experience preferably within Logistics Supply Chain specifically or working knowledge of UK customs regulations. However, less experienced candidates will be considered as full training will be provided.
Excellent customer service and helpful attitude (“We Take It Personally”)
Strong IT skills including MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Excellent Analytical, numerical and attention to detail skills
Good time & deadline management
Good organisational skills
Strong communication skills
